There was so much art stuff going on last week that it has bled through into this week for me. One of the events that I missed because of the Akron Film Festival was the NOTO Boutique’s spring line fashion show. I didn’t even know Akron had enough fashion for a spring line of anything.
Of course, I know about Rubber City Clothing (which has a cool little blog that I came across a while ago), but this is a different kind of fashion, I guess.
Thanks to Jay Edwards for the video, since I wasn’t able to make it. I know the video is going to bleed out of the center column, but I can’t really do much to resize it on this end.
Fashion isn’t really my forte, so I’m going to let the designs speak for themselves. Regardless, it’s great to see this kind of work showing up so close to home.
And, my own opinion: These girls may have plenty of attitude, but there is not the same level of sass I experienced in Hartville. Those ladies were hardcore.
